What is the Gospel?
The Free Gift of
Salvation
More important than getting to
know us, is getting to know Jesus Christ, God's Son.
REALIZE that you are
sinful, and that Christ died for your sins on the cross. As it is
written: "There is no one righteous, not even one.”( Romans 3:10 ) NIV.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23 ) NIV.
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still
sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8 ) NIV.
REPENT of your sin and
turn from your sin to Christ. “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that
your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the
Lord, and that he may send the Christ, who has been appointed for you--
even Jesus.” (Acts 3:19 ) NIV. “I have
declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in
repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.” (Acts 20:21 ) NIV.
RECEIVE Christ as your
personal Savior. “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in
his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” (John 1:12 ) NIV. "For
God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever
believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16 ) NIV.
If you desire to do
these
things, then you can receive Jesus
Christ into your life, by faith, right now. The following prayer might
help you express your thoughts to the Lord:
“Lord Jesus, I admit my sinfulness and thank You for dying for me on the cross. I ask You to forgive me of my sins. I now place my faith in You as my Lord and Savior. Come into my life and change me to be what You desire.”
“Lord Jesus, I admit my sinfulness and thank You for dying for me on the cross. I ask You to forgive me of my sins. I now place my faith in You as my Lord and Savior. Come into my life and change me to be what You desire.”
